Narrow gauge passenger cars at the Terowie station platform on 26 January 1953. Note the water tanks on the right which was the unloading point for the town water supply. Water came from Burra. Note the old brake van at the dead-end ramp. That was there for many years. At the far left is the broad gauge – narrow gauge stock transfer point, while the loco depot is in the background.
