Quorn was 80 miles (129 km) to the north-west of Peterborough. This line was part of the original route to central Australia and was extremely busy during WWII. One of the stations on the line – Eurelia – even had a staffed refreshment room in the goods shed. You can see pictures of the room and staff on the Eurelia sub-menu.
